Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. inaugurated a Hajj Booth at Ashkona Hajj Camp for providing Hajj guidelines to the Pilgrims. This year Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. provides Hajj Guide and Umbrella to the Pilgrims. The Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA inaugurated the Booth as chief Guest on 19th April 2026. The Director (Joint Secretary) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of it's Dhaka Office Mr. Md. Lokman Hossan was present as special guest in the program. Among others the SEVP & Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, the Manager of Uttara Branch Mr. Mohammad Abu Hanif, the Manager of Ashkona Branch Mr. Ahsanul Hoque Ferdous and the JAVP & In-Charge of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation of the Bank Mr. K. M. Harunur Rashid were also present in the program.Industry insiders mentioned that such tupe of camp is very usefull for the hajj pilgrims. The pilgrims can get their required informations and responsibilities while performing the hajj activities in Saudi. The effort of Shahjala Bank is appreciable to consider the growing demand of the hajj pilgrims.
