NRBC Bank PLC has signed a remittance agreement with UK-based BRAC Saajan Exchange Ltd, UK. The signing ceremony was held on Monday, 20 April 2026 at the Bank's Head Office. The agreement was signed on behalf of their respective organizations by Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, FCMA, Managing Director & CEO of NRBC Bank PLC, and Abdus Salam, Managing Director & CEO of BRAC Saajan Exchange Limited, UK.
Under this agreement, Bangladeshi expatriates residing from the various countries will be able to send money safely and quickly to their beneficiaries in Bangladesh through all branches and sub-branches of NRBC Bank PLC across the country. Among others present at the signing ceremony were Mohammad Abdul Qaium Khan, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, and Hasnat Reza Mohibbul Alam, Head of International Division, Md. Abdul Gafur Raana, Head of Treasury, & Al Amin Islamic Window of NRBC Bank and Md. Marzanur Rahman, Head of Operations, Kallol Biswas, Manager Operations of BRAC Saajan Exchange Ltd, UK along with other senior officials of both organizations attended the program.
