Recognition of Academic Excellence and Special Contribution to Research: Honorable Education Minister Present as Chief Guest
Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a member institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), organized the IUT Excellence Award Ceremony 2026 with due dignity and formality on its campus in Gazipur on 13 May 2026.
The Honorable Minister of Education of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. A.N.M. Ehsanul Haque Milon, MP, was present as the Chief Guest at the ceremony. His presence further enhanced the significance of the ceremony and reaffirmed the national commitment to quality improvement and innovation in higher education.
In the presence of university teachers, students, officials and employees and invited guests, awards and honors were given to those selected for their outstanding contribution to academic excellence, research success and institutional development.
In his address, the Chief Guest praised IUT for its consistent success in producing quality graduates and reiterated the government’s commitment to achieving excellence in the country’s higher education system.
He further mentioned that IUT has been playing a significant role in the human resource development of Bangladesh and OIC member states through the development of technical and vocational education, research, training and capacity building.
The event concluded with the distribution of awards and reaffirmed the commitment to achieve further excellence in education, research and innovation.
