The process of obtaining hall, library and other administrative services for fresh students of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has been brought under complete digital and automation.
This integrated digital automation system has been launched with the aim of making the university's student services easier, faster and technology-based. On Wednesday (June 24) at 4:30 pm, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Muhammad Machud, announced the inauguration of this automation system through a program organized in his office.
Under this new system, a unique digital ID will be provided to each student. Through this ID, students will be able to complete their university e-mail, academic registration, various fee and payment activities, hall-related services, library services and other administrative activities through an integrated digital platform.
In addition, new students will be able to use this website-based automation system to allocate hall seats, receive library cards and collect other necessary institutional services and information quickly and easily in a digital manner without any complications.
As a result, the use of time and papers in the service delivery process will be reduced, as well as transparency, accountability and efficiency in administrative activities will increase. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Machud said that this initiative has been taken as part of digital transformation to build a modern and smart university.
He expressed the hope that this automation system will make it easier for students to receive services and make the administrative and academic activities of the university more dynamic, transparent and student-friendly.
Honorable deans of various faculties of the university, directors of institutes, registrars, heads of departments, hall provosts, directors and heads of various departments and branches were present at the ceremony.
