18 students of Dhaka University Bijoy Ekattor Hall have been awarded the “Champion Sports Award” for their outstanding performance and success in various sports competitions at the national and international levels. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam was present as the chief guest at a function organized at the Hall Auditorium on Tuesday evening, July 14, 2026, and handed over the crests of honour to the students.
Former Bangladesh Cricket Team captain ASM Rakibul Hasan was present as the special guest at the function presided over by Bijoy Ekattor Hall Principal Professor Dr. S.M. Ali Reza. DUCSU Sports Secretary Arman Hossain and leaders of the Hall Sangsad were present at the function.
