A Saudi expatriate recovered his lost laptop from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka thanks to the prompt and responsible actions of Bangladesh Ansar members.
The expatriate, Md Hazrat Ali, arrived in Dhaka from Riyadh on an SV-798 flight on Sunday. He accidentally left his laptop on a trolley at the airport’s Canopy-02 area before leaving the premises.
APC Md Golam Rabbani, who was on duty, found the unattended laptop and secured it. He immediately informed PC Md Nizam Uddin.
With assistance from AVSEC authorities, announcements were made inside and outside the airport to locate the owner. Hazrat Ali was eventually found and brought to the DSO office.
After necessary verification, the laptop was handed back to him. Hazrat Ali expressed his gratitude to Bangladesh Ansar and praised the members for their honesty, dedication and sense of responsibility.
