The Islamic University Alumni Association has congratulated Md Rakibul Akhter, Superintendent of Police (SP) of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) in Gazipur, on receiving the prestigious President’s Police Medal (PPM)-Service for 2025.
Rakibul Akhtar is a former student of the Department of English at Islamic University, belonging to the 1997-98 academic session.
In a congratulatory message, Mirza Walid Hossain Shipon, president of the Islamic University Alumni Association, and SM Mizanur Rahman, general secretary of the association, extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Rafiqul Akhtar on the recognition.
They expressed hope that he would achieve greater success, prosperity and professional excellence in the future, while wishing him continued well-being in his career.
The association described the PPM-Service award as a significant recognition of Rakibul Akhtar’s professional dedication, integrity, efficiency and sense of responsibility.
His achievement has brought pride and joy to the Islamic University community, the association said.
The alumni association also wished him good health and continued success in his professional life, expressing hope that his achievement would serve as a source of inspiration for students of future generations.
