The second day of recruitment activities for the post of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) in Pirojpur district was completed on Saturday, under the slogan "A Job in the Service of People."
Candidates who passed the initial screening on the first day participated in the next stage of selection from the morning.
At the Pirojpur Police Lines ground, candidates underwent physical measurements and document verification, followed by the Physical Endurance Test (PET). The test included four events: a 200-meter run, push-ups, long jump, and high jump to assess physical fitness.
At the end of the day, Recruitment Board President and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Monjur Ahmed Siddiqui congratulated the candidates who passed the test. He advised applicants to avoid any financial transactions or involvement with middlemen. He assured that the recruitment process would be conducted with complete transparency and only the most qualified candidates would be selected. He also urged candidates to have confidence in the recruitment board and expressed commitment to ensuring a fair and impartial process. Other members of the recruitment board, senior police officers of Pirojpur district, and officials involved in the recruitment process were present.
