A unique initiative has been undertaken at Border Guard Public School and College in Lalmonirhat to create a modern, joyful, and participatory learning environment for children. The institution's Commandant, Lieutenant Colonel Mehedi Imam, PSC, shared the details, stating that the goal is to align education with modern systems so that children feel happy attending school and learn in an engaging and spontaneous manner.
As part of the initiative, classrooms now feature round-table seating arrangements to enhance interaction and teamwork among students.
This allows children to face each other while learning, helping to build empathy, cooperation, and social values.
Beyond classroom teaching, the institution has introduced an innovative canteen system that provides healthy and nutritious food while promoting proper dietary habits among students. Under trained staff supervision, children are being guided to develop healthy eating habits from an early age. The Commandant added that there are plans to further modernize and enhance these initiatives step by step.
He expressed hope that the program will ensure a safe, creative, and healthy learning environment where children can learn joyfully and develop their full potential.
