Modern cabin block and beautiful water fountain inaugurated at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital

Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital has opened 22 modern cabins for middle and upper class patients seeking treatment at affordable prices. He inaugurated the cabins, which were converted from dilapidated to modernized ones, at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 4. At the same time, two newly built beautiful water fountains were inaugurated in the field in front of the hospital to give a touch of modernization after many years of establishment. 

After the inauguration of the modern cabin block, the hospital director, who presided over the inauguration ceremony at the surgery seminar hall on the 4th floor of the hospital, said that government hospitals are not only for the lower class, but also the middle and upper class are taking services here. Because the middle and upper class also have to struggle by paying for private hospitals. Therefore, the service system in government hospitals is available for everyone. 

Therefore, Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital is working to provide quality medical services to the middle and upper classes as well as the lower classes. In continuation of that, a modern cabin block was inaugurated today. 22 modern cabins have been introduced here for a rent of just 1000 taka. The quality of the cabins is better than that of private hospitals. The director also said that no government hospital in Bangladesh has a large field in front of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital. We have taken various initiatives to make this hospital of unparalleled beauty more beautiful. 

In continuation of that, a beautiful water fountain was inaugurated today. In phases, flower gardens, lakes, and work ways will be further modernized in the two fields in front of the hospital. He urged people not to enter the hospital with betel, lime, and coconut to protect its beauty, and said that betel, lime, and coconut shells are the most harmful for dirtying the hospital environment. 

Therefore, it is our responsibility to increase the quality of hospital services and it is everyone's responsibility to protect the environment. On Tuesday at 10 am, Director Brig. J. Dr. AKM Mashiul Munir inaugurated 2 beautiful water fountains. At the inauguration ceremony, Medical College Vice-Principal Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain Bablu said that we are working in various ways to develop the hospital. The previous medicine building has now been completely converted into an outpatient department. 

The old building is being converted into an inpatient department. 300 more beds have been added to this building. This will make it possible to alleviate a lot of suffering for patients. To address such complaints from cabin patients, Director Brigadier J. Dr. AKM Mashiul Munir took the initiative to build completely modern cabins in June last year. In the first phase, he took the initiative to modernize 22 cabins in Block A on the 5th floor of the hospital.

In each cabin, new old plaster, doors and windows were removed and plastered, high-quality doors and windows were installed, and attractive tiles were installed. These luxurious cabins have new beds, sofas, AC, sufficient oxygen, chairs, cabinet sets, walls, clocks, clothes racks, room sprays, water jugs, water heaters, drinking glasses, high-quality curtains, high-quality tiled toilets with basins and high commodes, tissues and hand sanitizers. 

Meanwhile, Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital is one of the oldest government medical college hospitals in the country. The current director has taken various initiatives to enhance the beauty of the hospital. One of the most beautiful of which is the beautiful water fountain. The initiative to build this fountain was taken just a month ago. 

The inaugural ceremony was presented by Dr. Md. Mazharul Rezwan Reza, Resident Surgeon and Acting Department Head of the Emergency and Casualty Department. The hospital's Deputy Director Dr. Nazmul Ahsan, Assistant Director (Administration) Dr. Mahmud Hasan, Assistant Director (Finance and Treasury) Dr. Abdul Munayem Saad, along with doctors, nurses, and journalists from various electronic, print, and online media from the departments of surgery, medicine, and gynecology.
