Md. Mamun Khandaker has officially assumed office as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate of Barishal.
He formally took charge from outgoing Deputy Commissioner Md. Khairul Alam Sumon during a handover ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room on Sunday afternoon, July 5.
The ceremony marked the official transition of administrative responsibilities to the new district administrator.
