An advocacy meeting was held at the Barishal City Corporation (BCC) on Monday, May 4, to ensure the successful implementation of the upcoming "Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign 2026."
The meeting took place at the Nagar Bhaban conference room, chaired by BCC Chief Executive Officer Md. Rezaul Bari. Advocate Bilkis Akhter Jahan Shirin, Administrator of Barishal City Corporation, attended as the Chief Guest.
Health Protection: Speakers emphasized the critical importance of the Measles-Rubella vaccine in securing the health of the next generation.
Collaborative Effort: The meeting stressed the need for a coordinated approach between the police administration, health departments, and the City Corporation to reach a 100% success rate.
Public Awareness: Officials called for increased community engagement to ensure all eligible children are vaccinated during the campaign.
