Dhaka Metropolitan Ansar (DMA) Director Md. Asaduzzaman Goni has instructed Ansar personnel deployed at major government hospitals in the capital to take a strict stance against brokers and ensure a disciplined, corruption-free environment.
The directive was issued during a special meeting held on Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Ideal Women's College auditorium. Ansar platoon commanders, assistant platoon commanders, and personnel serving at six hospitals Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, National Institute of Neurosciences Hospital, National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), National Heart Foundation Hospital, Dhaka Shishu Hospital, and the National Institute of Ophthalmology attended the meeting.
The DMA Director emphasized that maintaining discipline and professionalism is essential to ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services and hospital security. He highlighted several welfare initiatives introduced for integrated Ansar members and said greater opportunities would come through dedicated and reputable service.
Ansar personnel were ordered to prevent harassment of patients and visitors, eliminate the influence of outside broker networks, and provide assistance to service recipients without accepting tips, gifts, or any financial benefits.
The director also called on Ansar members to play a more responsible role in ensuring the safety of doctors, nurses, patients, and visitors at the city's busy and sensitive healthcare facilities. Senior officials of the Dhaka Metropolitan Ansar West Zone and local unit officers also attended the meeting.
